When a flight is completed, it automatically becomes a past flight and shows up in three places - the Flights tab, inside Reservations, and in Billing where it's ready to be invoiced.

Viewing Past Flights

Inside the Flights tab, every completed flight is listed showing the student, instructor, route flown, takeoff and landing times, and the reservation number. Admins and instructors can see all past flights across the school. Students only see their own.

Billing From a Past Flight

Past flights can be billed directly based on whatever settings you've configured. You can invoice based on Hobbs time, Tach time, include the instructor's hourly rate, or create a custom invoice - and you can either charge the student's card on file or send them an invoice. ADS-B Flight Replay

Clicking on any past flight loads the ADS-B data for that specific flight. This is one of those features that completely changes how you operate - instead of digging through third-party ADS-B providers and trying to match up who was flying and when, it's all right here inside SkySchedule tied directly to the reservation.

You can see exactly who was flying, where they went, and when. Click Altitude to pull up the full altitude profile of the flight and replay it from start to finish. You can also switch to Satellite View in the top left for a different perspective on the route.

We're actively working with top providers like Garmin to bring full telemetry data into past flights - stay tuned for that on the roadmap.

Downloading & Logging Flights

Anyone - admin, instructor, or student - can download a past flight, which generates a detailed dispatch report with all of the flight's information. Flights can also be added directly to ForeFlight or logged to Logten depending on the user's settings, making personal logbook entries completely effortless.
